Hi lovely you!

How are you coping with the current cold winter vibes? Hopefully better than I do… 😉 Though I try not to complain about it too much (jep, not nailing that one), I’m truly just not build for these cold, wet and dark days.

Luckily, there’s more than enough metaphorical sunshine available throughout the year. One of the places I often go to when in need of some serious good vibes and warmth, are my favourite coffee places in Amsterdam. Also, perfect for getting the creative vibes going, right before starting a nice painting sessions.

Sharing is caring! …So:

Here’s my personal top six coffee hotspots in Amsterdam 🎉🎉

These will defenitely get you through the winter (and are perfect in other seasons also ;)):

1. Berry Amsterdam

[>> Bilderdijkkade 27]
Best latte macchiato in Amsterdam – seriously. Great bonus: carrot cake to die for,
lots of light falling through the big, high windows and always a nice comfy vibe. All of this equals one thing, and that’s weekly visits from me and many of my friends. Plus a first place in this very honorable hotspot list.

2. Scandinavian Embassy

[>> Sarphatipark 34]
Great-great coffee (these people have serious skills) and love the freshly baked cinnamon
buns. SO good. The nordic vibe you can find in literally every detail, including the nicely dressed Scandinavian barista’s.

3. Coffee and coconuts

[>> Ceintuurbaan 282-284]
In terms of interior and making a visual impression, this place beats all others. Located
in an old theatre, it consists of three stories filled with coffee goodness. Also, am in love with the creative atmosphere it offers.

Art is not just created on canvases – got the cute rabbit below at Coffee and coconuts during Easter <3

4. Bocca’s

[>> Kerkstraat 96HS]
I found this only a few months agoo. Strikingly spacious, beautiful and, of course, awesome coffee. Nice detail: the note accompanying your coffee telling you what flavours characterise the blend you’re drinking. Yes, love this.

5. Monks Coffee Roasters

[>> Bilderdijkstraat 46]
Yes, you’ll often find me here aswell! Next to the great coffee, it’s also a nice place to play a board game on a rainy/snowy day, or to enjoy an amazing breakfast/lunch-combo. Really nice owners producing the coolest latte art also. PS. ignore all the laptops on the photo – there’s a no-screen (and yes-talk & smile, please) policy for those tables now 😉

6. Il Momento

[>> Singel 180]
This little gem is a relaxing place in the midst of the busy centre of the city. You’ll find amazing coffee and fresh croissants. If you visit, consider a one-minute walk and drop by my atelier. I’d gladly show you the art I’m working on.

Feeling thirsty allready? This is the end of my list of favourite coffee hotspots. This’ll get us through the winter 😉

Wishing you a beautiful last part of 2017, filled with friends & family, good food & coffee ánd lots of love & inspiration.

Don’t forget that joining the mailing list is a very wise decision. ‘Cause this means you’ll stay in the loop on the artful good stuff.

See you again in 2018 when I post a new blog!

Sending you tons of love & good vibes,

Simone
